ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

Mission Statement

Southampton Model School's Tigers Soccer program is dedicated to provide the opportunity to enjoy a quality experience for ALL students.

As of this writing (April 6, 2000), we have registered 78 pupils in seven teams in all grades, including some players who attend neighboring schools without active soccer programs.

We are all indebted to the dedicated coaches and volunteers who make this happen.  We are also particularly appreciative of the active cooperation that we have enjoyed from Southampton's administration and faculty, under the able leadership of Dr. Joyce Keane.

To the parents of Southampton's Tigers we ask two favors:

1. that you continue to support your young athletes by getting them ready to practice and to play;

2. that you look at the Tigers Executive Committee page, take a note of the vacant positions, and lend your further support.

To other members of the Southampton community, we encourage you to:

1. keep track of our training and games;

2. come out to cheer us on and support us;

3. volunteer to coach and otherwise assist, even though you do not presently have a young athlete enrolled.
