Clean Up is Really Needed (Mar.
2001) One of the few areas of Jahnke Road that needs a major clean up is the 6600-6900 Block. Most of the sidewalk is littered with trash, debris and glass making it almost impossible for our wheelchair assisted neighbors to navigate safely. Unfortunately, many of them ride their chairs in the bike trails of the travel lanes along our busiest street where many speeding cars are present. City officials have been contacted and will help with these environmental violations. Part of the 6600-6900 block area is believed to be city property. In additional, this car for sale is illegally parked in the city right-of-way (A recurring problem... the posted "No Parking" signs have been removed.) |
